Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Web Analytics to see which breed profiles, comparisons and tools people actually read. Google Analytics sets cookies so it can tell one visit from another; Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies. Neither is used to identify you personally.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Display ads on FetchBreed are served by Google AdSense, and that advertising is part of what keeps the breed database free to use. Google and its partners rely on cookies to serve and measure those ads, and depending on your settings the ads can be personalised from your visits to this and other websites. In the EEA and the UK, Google asks for your consent before any personalised-advertising cookie is set, and you can withdraw or change that consent later.

No breed is rated more kindly because of an ad. Advertisers never see a profile or comparison before it is published and have no say in what it reports about a breed’s health, cost or temperament. Some pages carry Amazon affiliate links, which our affiliate disclosure explains.

You can review or turn off ad personalisation in Google My Ad Center, and opt out of interest-based ads from participating companies at aboutads.info. How Google uses advertising cookies is set out in Google’s advertising policies.

Contact form, newsletter and payments

Contact-form messages are delivered to our inbox through our email provider, Brevo, and used only to reply to you. If you join the newsletter, your email address is held by Brevo too, and every email carries an unsubscribe link. Breed Match Report orders and donations are processed by Stripe: we never see your card number, only your email address and the answers you submit with a report order, which we use to prepare and deliver it.
